Nablus Organic Olive Oil Soap

These Palestinian olive oil soaps are from Nablus, a city that has continuously produced pure olive oil soap for the past thousand years. Nablus soap is still made in the traditional way, from three ingredients--virgin olive oil, water, and lye. Cooked slowly on high heat for a week, the soap is then hand cut, stacked, and dried for up to 8 months.
